Medical & Annual Leave Entitlement During Probation Period

Hi there,

I've tendered my resignation during my probation period and my company stated that I will not be entitled to the annual leave pay back. I'm supposed to have 14 days annual leave but have not utilised any of it as I'm still under probation. Any leave I took during this probation period had been deducted from my salary, even medical leave with medical certificate. My understanding is that employer is supposed to pay back either by means of days or monetary to the employee the annual leave entitlement upon resignation, even for an unconfirmed staff. Please advise!

Go personally to the local Labour Department and make a complaint there.
