Claim unpaid wages

Dear Sirs,

I have a staff (Manger Level) under probation, Salary is more than RM 2,000.00.

The staff serve the resigned notice, and she wrote the letter would like to claim back unpaid wages that company request the staff work in rest day.

But base on our letter of appointment, have stated: However your duties as per exigency, your working hours may be changed upon required by the Management without any additional remuneration being payable. (The staff Signed the letter of appointment)

Will the company don't let the staff claim?

I think you should consult the Labour Department whether you can claim wages for working on rest days as your salary is more than RM2000.
