Prolonged MC Leaves more than 100 days and not fit to do the job

i have issue with my employee.

This fellow i called A. A have been taken MC for more than 100 days due to his pain in his neck and medicine junkies. Right now, he came to work as usual but he refused to do his main job due to his illness, so management has giving him light work but still he will come and suddenly absent with the new mc. all of his mc got from government hospital.

So, what HR need to do to this person.? His boss already give up to handle this. He still got his salary as usual. but his attendance very bad and reluctantly always come late or absents.

So could you give me an idea on this cases. I am thinking of MBO- Medically Boarding out for him ...but is this is applicable and what the impact to the company?
