plz help:- the situation is; if my staff taken unpaid leave for 1 month, is he entitle for annual leave. My boss said not entitle then the calcutaion will be as below:-
(11/12)*18days entitle for 1 year = 16.5days.

Kesa also asked the same question. To me, there is no break in service when one is on no pay leave. He should be entitled to 18 days for every 12 month service. Consult the Labour Department for an official answer.
