I resign within 24 hours. I acknowledge that I need to pay one month salary but in contract never mention anything about period of that payment. The company said i need to pay within 7 days or else they will take action. I tried to talk and ask for monthly payment at fixed rate but they refused. What should I do? If they send lawyer letter, can the amount increase? I really can't find within 7 days

If there is no other way out, let them take action, that's all. You may offer to pay by installments when you get the lawyer's letter. Next time, don't just walk off without giving notice when you work for future employers.
