Basically, I have signed a one year employment contract from Jan-Dec this year.
The contract stated I have to give 3 months notice or pay them back 3 months salary if I want to terminate the contract within the employment period.
However, my boss gave me a letter of confirmation with the effect of 1 May 2014. (* I received it during July)
My question is, if I want to resign after completing my period of employment which is 31st Dec 2014.
Do I need to give any notice?
I am actually confusing whether I am a permanent or contract based worker...
