Hospitalization Leave & Medical Claim

1. If the staff admitted to hospital for 3-4 days, do he/she consider to apply normal sick leave or hospitalization leave? FYI, the doctor give the staff 3 weeks MC.

2.In which condition should be in consider hospitalization leave? ​Employer need to pay salary to employee during the period?

3. Can employer reject staff medical claim from non panel clinic(specialist) ?

1. The number of days the staff actually admitted and stayed in hospital is considered hospitalisation while other days not in hospital are considered as ordinary sick leave.

2. See 1. above.

3. Medical claim is not provided in the Employment Act, it is up to the company.
