Dear CK,

When staff on maternity leave co. request she come back early one month for urgent work do we need to pay double or normal pay?

Please advise.

if the staff under probation she still entitle maternity leave?

1. Even if she agreed to come back earlier, the company should not take advantage of her for not paying extra. For me, she should be paid double.

2. Yes, if she fulfills the conditions stated in the Employment Act on maternity protection.
