May i know whether it is compulsory for the employer to give the resignee a detailed employment history?  Means the list would indicate every single thing that the employee did in her previous role within the company during her tenure.  Can the resignee demand for the document?  Can the resignee held the company responsible from the Employment Act/Labour Law perspective? Thanks.

There is nothing to say the employer must give that document as mentioned by you.

Question is HR had provided the employment history as per the HR records, i.e. position held, salary, the employment tenure etc.  However, the resignee is asking for a very detailed breakdown (every little single thing) of what had been performed and done.  Is the employer liable to provide this at all?

Why not you consult a lawyer see whether it is possible to force the employer to do that.
