I want to ask something about working on public holiday which is my rest day. My working hours is 48 hours per week means 6 days in a week and my rest day is fix on every Thursday. My company said we can get triple pay for working on Labours' day, 1st May 2014 which is a public holiday. But Labours' day is on next Thursday which is my rest day, so can I get more than triple pay or another off day replacement?
Last public holiday, Thaipusam, my company give my colleagues triple pay while others got double pay because they work on that day which is their rest day. But this time, my company said different thing to me which is they will only give me triple pay which same with others and no any off day replacement for me.
