URGENT: Resign and leave earlier than notice required

Dear Sir or Mdm,

Need your help here. Im currently working as Business Executive. Currently, i need to provide 2 months notice upon resignation. However, i was unable to serve full notice, only manage to serve 1 and half month. Here the question i need advise:

a)how does the calculation of salary in lieu thereof apply that i have to pay them back? total days the month or total working days of the months?

b) During when i sign offer letter, the letter stated only Initial salary of RM2500, and i joined on December 2012. But starting from January 2013, they start to give fixed car allowance to exchange with previously system of making claim after we made payment for the car maintenance. Here come the question, if i have to pay the salary notice in lieu, it is based on monthly salary or include the fixed monthly allowance?

As im a newbie,i was not so clear regarding the the Employment Act even after read it.

What precaution that i need to take when i write my resignation letter?

Need your help and advise asap.

I think you give back half of RM2500 + half of any allowance will do.
