1) Seeking for your advise, if my employee refuse to come to work OT on saturday/sunday/PH, what action can i take against those employees?
2) if they dont show up during Saturday/Sunday/PH, and inform you that they are sick and require to take MC (as you know they are not sick but just do not come to work). What action we can take? discipinary action?
First, we must recognize the fact that employees have the right to have rest days and holidays. On the other hand, employers also have the right to deploy their employees. If you have reasons to require your workers to work on those day, they should not unreasonably refuse to do so. If you think that is insubordination, you may take disciplinary action by holding a domestic inquiry and decide what to do with them.
