Hi Siew,

Most of the companies provided pre-employment checkup for new comers. May I know If we realized the new comer has pregnant or critical illness such as HIV or infectious disease after he/she signed the offer letter, can we revoke the offer letter because of Maternity benefits or critical illness?

Regards,

Stacy

You send them for pre-employment checkup, surely your company has a policy for it. Check up the policy what it says about it.

Hi Siew,

That means there is no any offence or restrict of law in Employment act if we revoke to offer pregnant women or critical illness candidate provided my company policies has clearly stated this issue?
