Daily salary calculation, Unpaid leave deduction, OT calculation

Hi, I would to seek advice on the above subject.

  • Salary calculation: Salary/30 days? 26days? Any law clarify about this? or it is up to company policy?
  • OT Calculation: Salary/26*1.5*0.125 Is this right or bound by law?
  • OT calcualtion: above RM2,000 is not entitled to apply OT. This is Company Policy. 
  • Salary deduction (unpaid leave): salary/31 or 26, can the Company fix it to 26days to standardize? 

Does Company actually has the right to set regulations on its' own policy for the above calculation?

Besides, can I have have number for the relevant organization to clarify my queries? I have tried calling 03-41414600, 88865225 and 88865674 but non of them actually pick up the calls.

Appreciate if sir you can actually provide me a right direction. Thanks

The proper thing to do is to go personally to the local Labour Office, set down and discuss with the officer there. You will get more details this way. Don't call.
