hi..hope u can help me with the correct calculation

let's say if i tender my resignation on 16 August 2013 and i need to give 1 month notice but my boss request me work until 30 September 2013

Annual leave entitled for 2013 = 14 days

Carry fwd from previous year 2012 = 6.5 days

Taken annual leave for 2013 = 10.5 days

so, may i know how to calculate the balance of annual leave til end of September?

Annual Leave entitlement from 1/1/2013 to 30/9/2013 = (273 days / 365 days) x 14 days = 10.5 days

Annual Leave carried forward = 6.5 days

Total entitled up to end of September = 10.5 + 6.5 = 17 days

Taken in 2013 = 10.5 days

So, balance = 17 - 10.5 = 6.5 days
