Maternity Leave

Sir, if a worker which to take 90 days for her matenity leave can our company stop her? I mean yes, we will follow the 60 days maternity leave but she apply another 30 more day using some of her anual leave entilement and some unpaid leave. It's not due to health or anything but she jes wanted a longer leave. Can we not grand him the additional leave besides the 60 days. And is 60 days the same with 2 months? Let say she start commencing her leave on 1st Sept, will it end on 60 days which is 30th October or 2 months which is 31st October?

1. The law says 60 days. It does not say two months.

2. If there is available annual leave, you don't want to reject her application, as for unpaid leave it is up to the company to approve or not.
