Unpaid leave

Hi Mr Siew

A staff is leaving and last day is 26/4/13.   He had taken 2 days unpaid leave this month.  Normal calculation of unpaid leave in our company is salary divided by 26 days.    The calculation of his salary for this month shall be divided by 30 x 26 days.  My query is how to calculate his 2 days unpaid leave.  Should it be salary divided by 26 days x 2 or salary divided by 30 days x 2 days?

For unpaid leave, it is up to the company, but do it consistently whether you use 26 or 30.
