Resignation & Calculation of Salary

Hi, Siew,

I would double check & ask you a few questions. I will tendered my resignation on 22/10/2012 until 4/11/2012 (2 weeks). Can you provide me the calculation of my salary as my cut off date is 25th every month and my basic salary is RM2000? And company owe me extra days for back dated pay. Correct me if Im wrong, is it the calculation as per following :-

     1) Full month salary : 25/9/2012 - 25/10/2012 = 2000/26 x 26days (im working for full month w/out take any leaves) = RM2000.00

     2) Notice of resign : from 26/10/2012 - 4/11/2012 = 2000/26 x 8 days (Sunday is my rest day) = RM 615.38

     3) Extra back dated pay (5 days) = 2000/26 x 5 days = RM384.62

         Total = 2000 + 615.38 + 384.62 = RM 3000.00

2nd Question : How about the salary payment? Does my company need to pay all the total in same month? Or separate payment,which I means for October salary will paid on October but the new salary (November) must be paid in the month of November?

Since you have been paid full from 25 to 25, I think the calculation should only be 2000+615.38.
