Salary deduction after exceed maternity leave

My friend take a maternity leave for 2 months (60 days) but she extend her leave for 10 days due her health..and her salary been deducted because of this. She still have her 14 days sick leave balance in her record. Should the company deduct her sick leave either deducting her salary?

If she has a valid medical certificate from a doctor, I think she should be entitled to ordinary sick leave with pay since she still has sick leave entitlement. She can consult the Labour Office about her salary deductions.
