 One of my key staff tok leave and was caught teaching and training a company to manufacture the same products which my company is producing in return for a training fees  , this has resulted more competitor in the market , As an employer , do we have the right  to deduct his  salary of rm 5000    since he has collected the teaching  fees from this manufacturer of this amount ?. We have issued him a show cause letter and he has not bother to reply .

Whatever action you want to take against him, do it only after a domestic inquiry having been conducted.
