I have a staff that would ask for pay raise when there are new contracts, I have given in 2 times now as I have a loyal staff that have been with me for 2 years plus..but recently he has ask for a pay raise again. I felt that I am being black mail as he has promises at the last to pay raises that he will work harder if there are new contracts..Now I felt angry and would seek advice how would I go about to terminated him. Or is this consider a misconduct that allow termination?.

Normally, you don't terminate an employee's service because he asks for pay increase. It is up to you to give or not and surely it is not a misconduct.
